BIBLICAL WORSHIP.

Updated: Oct 12
What do we mean when we use the WORD WORSHIP?

I have been in hundreds of churches on every continent except Antarctica, and I have heard many forms of singing described as worship.
I have heard expressions like ‘God has many forms of worship to suit the various personalities’ - I want to say right at the beginning of our studies, THIS IS NOT CORRECT, AS THERE IS ONLY ONE KIND OF WORSHIP AND THAT IS BIBLICAL WORSHIP AS ASCRIBED BY THE LORD.
I see skilled, professional musicians who have a heart to worship but lack an understanding of the Great Architect who gave the principles of worship, so they follow the latest fashion and copy big names on the internet, assuming that is the way forward.
Over the next few weeks, we will look at bible principles for worship, covering subjects like:-
1. THE RIVER.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD PRINCIPLES.
2. THE KEY OF DAVID.
A LOST BIBLICAL DIRECTION.
3. TABERNACLE OF DAVID.
A FORGOTTEN TRUTH.
4. A HAPPY CHURCH.
A WORSHIPPING CHURCH IS A HAPPY CHURCH.
5. THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
MANY OF THE MUSICIANS ARE GOOD, BUT THEY FUNCTION LIKE A STAGE PERFORMANCE AND NOT BIBLICAL WORSHIP.
6. THE LOST GENERATION.
A RESTORATION OF TRUE WORSHIP WILL RESTORE THE CHURCH AND REACH MANY SOULS.
If scripture tells us about something once, that’s important; twice, it’s God really trying to get our attention. But when it’s in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, it is vital that we understand what the Lord is saying.
The bible indicates that we worship with understanding.
