"Why walk alone when we can walk together?"
Ministers Fellowship Global is a fellowship of ministers and ministries committed to serving Jesus and building God’s kingdom through lasting relationships.
We believe church leaders need people alongside them: trusted friends who will encourage them, speak honestly, share wisdom and stand with them through the joys and challenges of ministry.
MFG is not a denomination. We are a fellowship that values the local church and connects leaders across nations. Each church remains autonomous, while being part of a wider family of support.
“Each church is autonomous, but not alone.”
— Colin Cooper, Chairman
Our Heart

Genuine Friendship
Strengthening the Local Church
Accountability Without Control
Serving Together
Building lasting relationships where ministers are known, encouraged and supported through every season of life and ministry.
Supporting leaders in the churches God has called them to serve. Each church remains autonomous, with a wider fellowship alongside it.
Walking together with trust, honest counsel and mutual care. Standing alongside one another while respecting local church leadership.
Sharing our gifts, wisdom and experience across churches and nations as we serve Jesus and build God’s kingdom together.
Our Story
From a leaders day to a global fellowship
MFG’s story began in the 1990s with a monthly leaders day hosted by Colin’s church. Leaders would gather, receive encouragement and return to their own churches.
An older pastor recognised that, although these days were a blessing, leaders could go home feeling alone again. His suggestion to make the fellowship more formal helped shape a community where relationships could continue beyond the meetings.
With many of the early relationships based in Europe, the fellowship became known as Ministers Fellowship Europe. As friendships with leaders in other countries grew, the name changed to Ministers Fellowship Global, reflecting the fellowship it had become.
Some of these friendships have lasted more than thirty-five years. That history of faithfulness continues to shape MFG today.
Friendship that keeps its word
Colin recalls a promise made by his friends Memos and Dimitri in Greece over thirty-five years ago:
“When you get old and nobody wants you, there will always be a bed here for you.”
Dimitri has since gone to be with the Lord, but Memos has remained faithful to that promise. For Colin, this expresses the heart of MFG: friendship that offers care, belonging and commitment through every season of life.

What Matters to Us

3
Accountability without control
Walking together includes caring for one another, being willing to listen and welcoming honest counsel.
Accountability within MFG is rooted in relationship and mutual care, while respecting each church’s autonomy.
“If you have trouble in the church we will stand with you.”
— Colin Cooper
2
Faithful relationships
We value friendships built on trust, honesty and commitment. These relationships take time to grow and are strengthened as we share life and ministry together.
We want leaders to know they have people who will stand with them when ministry is difficult, as well as celebrate with them when things are going well.
1
The local church
The local church is our priority. We seek to strengthen ministers in the churches and communities God has called them to serve.
MFG offers fellowship and support while respecting the responsibility of local church leadership. Each church remains autonomous, with outside ministries coming alongside to help.

6
Working together across nations
MFG connects ministers from different nations and backgrounds around a shared commitment to Jesus and His kingdom.
We value what each person brings and believe that serving together strengthens our ministry. Through these relationships, leaders can encourage one another, share wisdom and contribute to the work God is doing in different places.
5
A clear foundation in Scripture
We seek to build faithfully on the teaching of the Bible. When leaders face unfamiliar ideas or ministry trends, trusted people within the fellowship can offer theological insight and help them consider these carefully in the light of Scripture.
“Maturity is not spurts of excitement, but sticking to clear scripture.”
— Colin Cooper
4
Shared leadership and different gifts
We recognise the different ministry gifts described in Ephesians 4 and value the contribution each brings to the church.
No leader or team carries every gift. Through fellowship, ministers can draw on one another’s experience and receive help in areas where they need strengthening.
Fellowship in Practice

Gathering Together
We believe that regular connection is the heartbeat of our fellowship. Our gatherings provide a sacred space for leaders to transition from isolation to community, sharing wisdom and receiving mutual encouragement in their calling.
Whether through regional leaders days or international conferences, these moments allow for the building of trust and the strengthening of shared vision across nations.
Supporting One Another
We walk alongside leaders to provide the resources and guidance necessary for healthy, thriving ministry in any context.
- Ministry experience and theological guidance
- Books and teaching resources
- Financial guidance and practical church support
- Youth conference opportunities
Our desire is for ministers to know where they can turn and whom they can call.

Our Team

Colin Cooper
Chairman
I consider it all joy to be the chairman of MFG, which means I am here to serve everyone to the best of my ability - but without the amazing team from different nations, it would not be possible!

Liberty Joseph
Secretary
Hi there! My name is Liberty Joseph!
I am so privileged to be secretary for Ministers Fellowship Global. This organisation is very close to my heart as both my husband Amal and I came to be in the UK through relationships formed through MFG. I truly believe God created us to live in relationship with one another, and that too in unity. (Psalm 133) So as we each labour in the vineyard he has blessed us with, we want to encourage one another and build one another up in love.
May you be blessed through MFG as much as I have been over the years!
A Global Fellowship
Ministers Fellowship Global connects leaders across continents, fostering genuine friendship and mutual support. Our reach extends to ministers walking together in faith through regional gatherings and international support networks. Currently confirmed regions: Australia, Czech, Greece, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Pakistan, Romania, Spain, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, USA
